Bible Vs Vampire Vs Being a God

Recently I have stumbled on a site that says vampires were mentioned in the bible, here is the quote I picked up from AC news " When we enter the modern era we have reference of vampires in the Bible. In the year 31 A.D. Jesus was said to have healed five vampires at Capernaum. "

So I followed the link and ended up on a site of a Bible, ESV (English Standard Version). I am not exactly sure how the translation got to this point but we will roll with it for now, I might add I do not condone the use of this particular one as it is not translated they way it should have been, NIV for simpler reading works fine.

So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. " In this version of the bible, this is John 6:53 and John 21:25.
If we were to brake this down the way they did then ok it is Jesus saying it is in fact a necessity to be a "Vampire" to follow him.
Well they took it a little to far in this version. We have seen many new translations of the bible since the King James version, which in my opinion if you understand it, good for you, but for those looking for the simpler version, Please go with the NIV.
I looked farther into this book and found a passage that reads simple enough, Psalms 82:6-7, 6 I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; 7 nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.”

So we now are gods but will die as mortals. I am not sure that this is what this meant, but written out like this anyone can take it and become a self proclaimed god. What a concept.

ME GODDESS SILVER STORM, ME DRINK YOUR BLOOD AND EAT YOU BODY. Yeah, NOT.

And then they wonder why so many people misunderstand the Bible.

Just words for thought.

study more, get knowledge then form an opinion.

Twilight Saga

As Before, I have read this series. I have been so involved in the book and thought it was because of the whole vampire vs human aspect tonight I finished "Breaking Dawn", and for the first time I realized from the beginning it was not about that at all.

The series to me was more, it was about family, Love and Life. It was about the adversities of having that one thing to hold on to that you can count on.

Family is suppose to love unconditionally, fully, accepting and what not. I found this thought profound until I looked at my husbands family, it happens.

Love is suppose to go hand and hand with family, but it is more. It is the thought of giving your life to save another, to sacrifice all you ever knew and just go with whatever is thrown your way. So many times in our lives we forget why we loved a person and have never looked at the person with new eyes because ours has grown so dim that sometimes it is hard to see that person in a new light. We have to try to remember what it was that made us fall in love with that person to begin with.

Life is to be lived, not struggled with or fought against it is what you make of it not how others tell you to live or what others think of you... so what if your an Atheist or some other faith bound person it does not matter, what matters is that you are the person you want to be and you can live with it.

So words of wisdom from me to you... Live, Love, and re-open your eyes to what you have, do not throw it away on what other people call insanity or ignorance. Just live it the way you want.

OH Yea, Read the "TWILIGHT SAGA", it is a very good read. Good work Stephenie Meyer. Thanks for the dream.
I have a suggestion write a book where Renesmee is grown, I am curious how her and Jacob's life goes.

Vampires

As many of you know the "Twilight Series" has put attention back on the Vampire.

I have had a fascination with Vampires most of my life. The thought, even 25 years ago for me, of becoming one has always been, not a dream or aspiration, I'm not sure what to call it, it's not even a fantasy. This has been a fore thought of mine for a long time. I have always thought that if I could become one I could bring a world of wisdom to this world. I am not what you call a rich person, or even one that you would take a second look at. I am in fact a pretty average middle-aged female and lately, thanks to Stephanie Meyer, the thoughts I had as a younger person have brought to light that there might be a possibility that a vampire can lead a normal life.

I have pondered more recently that the fact that I could actually become one and possibly take this painful human existence away and maybe the pain of others that feel pain too away. Living with pain on a daily basis is far the worst thing to endure, I see it around me and I am not talking emotional pain but physical pain the kind that makes you want to take your life, the kind that when you see an older person live with makes you cry, that pain.

I have prayed that someone with the power to change me would come and do it. I have seen cancer patients, and patients with other deceases suffer horrifying deaths and honestly I do not want to die, I just want to be as normal as possible, I don't want pity because I feel like this, I don't want people to have to take care of me when I get older I just want to be me and all that it entails. An existence with out this, for me and my husband and I want my kids to live a full life without pain, to have kids and have the love that I share with my beloved. I would not wish my decision on any person but to see the pain in my husbands eyes is more than I can bare, the pain I feel is more than he can bare.

Well slap my face red.... recently I have been really searching around trying to find, well let's just say answers... to what you ask? Life, mine, yours, everybody's. Ok so we all have had some kind of wishing, want, need... what if I said that i was closer to a Real Vampire than I knew...LOL... what if I said to you, so have you.... and then I say remember all those little annoying complaints this person has about not feeling pain and there are days that this person just eminates feelings that everyone else seems to pick up on and then BAM you feel the same way... or how about this one, has that person just picked up something heavy that you tried and couldn't, I am not talking Edward strength here just stronger than normal. this person will not come out and tell you they are vampyre. They will not seemingly give you a straight answer ever. My favorite scenario... well not really... this person rarely gets sick, heals fast (not like in the movies, in fact a normal 3-4 week heal will take 1 week, like from surgery.) Ok I've given enough info so now here is the site, check it out, know anyone one that fits what it is explaining?
There is even a section on Slayer's, I can honestly say I know at least one, LOL... no it is not me. Funny sometimes how life works out, Right?
Enough rambling. the site:
Have fun read, get educated, oh yeah and have fun!

Instant Moments

Recently I lost a very good friend, I didn't know her long but the times we talked and the times we spents together and said nothing were no less gratifying to me then those I spend with my family.

We had made plans to go see the movie
"NEW MOON".
Looks like she will not make in body but she will be there in spirit.

I will miss her as she was a sister and you can not replace that.

She was a sister in Spirit as well as "other things."

When you spend one moment with your family, one minute... one second... and nothing of consequence is said, but you feel a presence of something not quite felt before, and you remember it for long time after, that is an instant moment, or how about that water fight last summer, how about the flour fight that started innocently by making a cake, yeah those are the moments I mean. Take the time to have them they may not be able to be captured later.

Bless you Becky, Rest now you will be called soon to do gods will in heaven soon.

Peachers VS Teachers

As I sit here trying to figure out why the Christian faith has failed severely in trying to save people as of lately, it dawns on me while reading and watching You Tube there is a good reason.. all of a sudden there are tons of preachers and no teachers. What's the difference? Have you sat in church and listened to the priest or the preacher or minister? Have you ever sat in a church in the back Pu and still felt like an outcast, like the sermon was directly aimed at you?? That my dear friends are the preachers, "Sorry you don't fit our mold, so you are not of our congregation"

Yep been there myself. So here is the teacher part.. 1)Do you know What the miracle was on the Mount where God first spoke to Moses? 2)Do you know when Jesus was actually born? 3)and how about what the bible says about forgiveness? 4)How about the rapture the one thing that everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off about...

The answers friends are simple and mostly taught wrong.

1) God told Moses "I am that I am, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, I am all things..... Ect.

2) No one knows the actual date but it was not in December because the shepards had their flocks in the fields, the reason there was sbow on the ground when the wisemen showed is because it took approximately 3 months for them to Find Jesus.

3) you forgive each and everytime someone hurts you and wrongs you, Turn the other cheek so to speak.

4) my favorite thing to break the good news about. so here it is THE RAPTURE is the ascension of gods people into his loving arms "first the dead in Christ will rise and be with me, then the living in Christ will join up with them in heaven" ok so not exact quote but it is what the Bible says, SO the "RAPTURE" is not the right name it is ASCENSION, Blah Blah Blah

Yep that's what you get when "PREACHERS" get together. I was a sunday school teacher once.

I had a good teacher actually 2 God and the minister of the church. Now my grandfather is my teacher and I can ask him anything, if he dont know then he finds out.

So if any should have a question please ask I will find the answer for you.

GM and Bill Gates

For all of us who feel only the deepest love and affection for the way computers have enhanced our lives, read on. At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated, "If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon."

In response to Bill's comments, General Motors issued a press release  stating:

If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics:

1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash...twice a day.

2. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a new car.

3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason. You would have to pull to the side of the road, close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows before you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this.

4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.

5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and twice as easy to drive - but would run on only five percent of the roads.

6. The oil, water temperature, and alternator warning lights would all be replaced by a single 'This Car Has Performed An Illegal Operation' warning light.

7. The airbag system would ask 'Are you sure?' before deploying.

8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna.

9. Every time a new car was introduced car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again be cause none of the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car.

10. You'd have to press the 'Start' button to turn the engine off.

PS - I'd like to add that when all else fails, you could call 'customer service' in some foreign country and be instructed in some foreign language how to fix your car yourself.

Gossip FY guys

The Skornik's posted the picture and it seemed fitting.

I wish people would stop talking about other people... If you don't know a person's situation or have nothing nice to say about other people then shut your mouth and remember when you have asked and those people helped you out.. because next time they will not.
It came to my attention just recently that people have an uncanny Knack for talking about other people.. you know there are certain situations that require finesse and when you have no couth you should not throw stones.  But as I sit here thinking about the overheard conversation and realizing the source I have to think you know I do not care if they talk about me but when you bring someone into a conversation you have no clue about that is where I draw the line.  I am a firm believer in helping people who need it and when people think you are being taken maybe they should ask first because chances are I know what I am doing, I do not question other's reasoning, why should they question mine?

So if you realize that a person has helped you and not required anything in return they just might not do it next time if they know you have bad mouthed them. I would like to say more but I think that for now it is enough.  Sometimes it is not any one's business what goes on in any family and then calling to try to get information from other's in a family is wrong.  Then you go passing stories around to people who don't matter. Why? So you look better... maybe the shoe should be on the other foot... maybe we should pass your dirty laundry around...what would you say to that??  Also contrary to popular belief I have better things to do than to talk shit about other people... again maybe I should start... want to lose your friends and family, keep living the life YOU are and YOU will push away those people. NOT ME... YOU.  YOUR FAULT, not mine.

P. S. You know who you are so if this upsets you then don't ask because you may get an answer you don't want.

Go LOBBANS

Read all before you blow a gasket.

Sign in a store front window in Alderson, West Virginia:

WE WOULD RATHER

DO BUSINESS WITH

1000 ALQAEDA TERRORISTS

THAN WITH ONE SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER!!”

This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in Alderson West Virginia. You are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement.

However, we are a society which holds Freedom of Speech as perhaps our greatest liberty.

And after all, it is just a sign.

You may ask what kind of business would dare post such a sign.

Answer: Lobbans Funeral Home

(Who said morticians had no sense of humor?)

St Patrick's Day

The Catholic Version slightly modified for better reading.

Saint Patrick (Latin: Patricius,[2] Irish: Naomh Pádraig), said[by whom?] to have been born Maewyn Succat (Latin: Magonus Succetus), was a Roman Britain-born Christian missionary and is the patron saint of Ireland along with Brigid of Kildare and Columba. When he was about sixteen he was captured by Irish raiders and taken from his native Wales as a slave to Ireland, where he lived for six years before escaping and returning to his family. After entering the church, he later returned to Ireland as a missionary in the north and west of the island, but little is known about the places where he worked and no link can be made between Patrick and any church. By the eighth century he had become the patron saint of Ireland. The Irish monastery system evolved after the time of Patrick and the Irish church did not develop the diocesan model that Patrick and the other early missionaries had tried to establish.

It was probably in the summer months of the year 433, that Patrick and his companions landed at the mouth of the Vantry River close by Wicklow Head. The Druids were at once in arms against him. But Patrick was not disheartened. The intrepid missionary resolved to search out a more friendly territory in which to enter on his mission.

He had not proceeded far when a chieftain, named Dichu, appeared on the scene to prevent his further advance. He drew his sword to smite the saint, but his arm became rigid as a statue and continued so until he declared himself obedient to Patrick. Overcome by the saint's meekness and miracles, Dichu asked for instruction and made a gift of a large sabhall (barn), in which the sacred mysteries were offered up.

Continuing his journey towards Slemish, the saint was struck with horror on seeing at a distance the fort of his old master Milchu enveloped in flames. The fame of Patrick's marvelous power of miracles preceded him. Milchu, in a fit of frenzy, gathered his treasures into his mansion and setting it on fire, cast himself into the flames. An ancient record adds: "His pride could not endure the thought of being vanquished by his former slave".

It was on 26 March, Easter Sunday, in 433, that the eventful assembly was to meet at Tara, and the decree went forth that from the preceding day the fires throughout the kingdom should be extinguished until the signal blaze was kindled at the royal mansion. The chiefs and Brehons came in full numbers and the druids too would muster all their strength to bid defiance to the herald of good tidings and to secure the hold of their superstition on the Celtic race, for their demoniac oracles had announced that the messenger of Christ had come to Erin. St. Patrick arrived at the hill of Slane, at the opposite extremity of the valley from Tara, on Easter Eve, in that year the feast of the Annunciation, and on the summit of the hill kindled the Paschal fire. The druids at once raised their voice. "O King", (they said) "live for ever; this fire, which has been lighted in defiance of the royal edict, will blaze for ever in this land unless it be this very night extinguished." By order of the king and the agency of the druids, repeated attempts were made to extinguish the blessed fire and to punish with death the intruder who had disobeyed the royal command. But the fire was not extinguished and Patrick shielded by the Divine power came unscathed from their snares and assaults. On Easter Day the missionary band having at their head the youth Benignus bearing aloft a copy of the Gospels, and followed by St. Patrick who with mitre and crozier was arrayed in full episcopal attire, proceeded in processional order to Tara. The druids and magicians put forth all their strength and employed all their incantations to maintain their sway over the Irish race, but the prayer and faith of Patrick achieved a glorious triumph. The druids by their incantations overspread the hill and surrounding plain with a cloud of worse than Egyptian darkness. Patrick defied them to remove that cloud, and when all their efforts were made in vain, at his prayer the sun sent forth its rays and the brightest sunshine lit up the scene. Again by demoniac power the Arch-Druid Lochru, like Simon Magus of old, was lifted up high in the air, but when Patrick knelt in prayer the druid from his flight was dashed to pieces upon a rock.

Thus was the final blow given to paganism in the presence of all the assembled chieftains. It was, indeed, a momentous day for the Irish race. Twice Patrick pleaded for the Faith before Leoghaire. The king had given orders that no sign of respect was to be extended to the strangers, but at the first meeting the youthful Erc, a royal page, arose to show him reverence; and at the second, when all the chieftains were assembled, the chief-bard Dubhtach showed the same honour to the saint. Both these heroic men became fervent disciples of the Faith and bright ornaments of the Irish Church. It was on this second solemn occasion that St. Patrick is said to have plucked a shamrock from the sward, to explain by its triple leaf and single stem, in some rough way, to the assembled chieftains, the great doctrine of the Blessed Trinity. On that bright Easter Day, the triumph of religion at Tara was complete. The Ard-Righ granted permission to Patrick to preach the Faith throughout the length and breadth of Erin, and the druidical prophecy like the words of Balaam of old would be fulfilled: the sacred fire now kindled by the saint would never be extinguished.

He would himself visit the other territories. Some of the chieftains who had come to Tara were from Focluth, in the neighborhood of Killala, in Connaught, and as it was the children of Focluth who in vision had summoned him to return to Ireland, he resolved to accompany those chieftains on their return, that thus the district of Focluth would be among the first to receive the glad tidings of Redemption. It affords a convincing proof of the difficulties that St. Patrick had to overcome, that though full liberty to preach the Faith throughout Erin was granted by the monarch of Leoghaire, nevertheless, in order to procure a safe conduct through the intervening territories whilst proceeding towards Connaught he had to pay the price of fifteen slaves. On his way thither, passing through Granard he learned that at Magh-Slecht, not far distant, a vast concourse was engaged in offering worship to the chief idol Crom-Cruach. It was a huge pillar-stone, covered with slabs of gold and silver, with a circle of twelve minor idols around it. He proceeded thither, and with his crosier smote the chief idol that crumbled to dust; the others fell to the ground. At Killala he found the whole people of the territory assembled. At his preaching, the king and his six sons, with 12,000 of the people, became docile to the Faith. He spent seven years visiting every district of Connaught, organizing parishes, forming dioceses, and instructing the chieftains and people.

St. Patrick, in obedience to his guardian angel, made this mountain his hallowed place of retreat. In imitation of the great Jewish legislator on Sinai, he spent forty days on its summit in fasting and prayer, and other penitential exercises. His only shelter from the fury of the elements, the wind and rain, the hail and snow, was a cave, or recess, in the solid rock; and the flagstone on which he rested his weary limbs at night is still pointed out. The whole purpose of his prayer was to obtain special blessings and mercy for the Irish race, which he evangelized. The demons that made Ireland their battlefield mustered all their strength to tempt the saint and disturb him in his solitude, and turn him away, if possible, from his pious purpose. They gathered around the hill in the form of vast flocks of hideous birds of prey. So dense were their ranks that they seemed to cover the whole mountain, like a cloud, and they so filled the air that Patrick could see neither sky nor earth nor ocean. St. Patrick besought God to scatter the demons, but for a time it would seem as if his prayers and tears were in vain. At length he rang his sweet-sounding bell, symbol of his preaching of the Divine truths. Its sound was heard all over the valleys and hills of Erin, everywhere bringing peace and joy. The flocks of demons began to scatter. He flung his bell among them; they took to precipitate flight, and cast themselves into the ocean. So complete was the saint's victory over them that, as the ancient narrative adds, "For seven years no evil thing was to be found in Ireland."

The saint, however, would not, as yet, descend from the mountain. He had vanquished the demons, but he would now wrestle with God Himself, like Jacob of old, to secure the spiritual interests of his people. The angel had announced to him that, to reward his fidelity in prayer and penance, as many of his people would be gathered into heaven as would cover the land and sea as far as his vision could reach. Far more ample, however, were the aspirations of the saint, and he resolved to persevere in fasting and prayer until the fullest measure of his petition was granted. Again and again the angel came to comfort him, announcing new concessions; but all these would not suffice. He would not relinquish his post on the mountain, or relax his penance, until all were granted.

The Trias thaumaturga (gol. Louvain, 1647) of the Franciscan COLGAN is the most complete collection of the ancient Lives of the saint. The Kemare Life of Saint Patrick (CUSACK, Dublin, 1869) presents from the pen of HENNESSY the translation of the Irish Tripartite Life, with copious notes. WHITLEY STOKES, in the Rolls Series (London, 1887), has given the text and translation of the Vita Tripartita, together with many original documents from the Book of Amragh and other sources. The most noteworthy works of later years are SHEARMAN, Loca Patriciana (Dublin, 1879); TODD, St. Patrick, Apostle of Ireland (Dublin, 1864); BURY, Life of St. Patrick (London, 1905); HEALY, The Life and Writings of St. Patrick (Dublin, 1905).

Here is the problem.

Although the beliefs we had were that of paganism, we had florished as a Country, Then along came Longshanks, breed them out, and they tried.

For those of us who remember the stories from our grandparents, we know that it was not a choice, as much as it was forced upon us.

The english came in and did to us like they did the Scottish, they made us change our beliefs and then tried to breed the Irish out of us.... huh i wonder if they would have wanted us to do that to him.

Again the Catholic church was responsible for hundreds even thousands of deaths because we did not believe like they did. Does any one remember who the Knights Templar were? Yea pretty much the same thing.
